If you are editing your layout ....
Always put your defence safe also your town hall, should be in the middle of your village. 
- Put Town Hall in middle.
- Put walls around your Town Hall
- Add defence system close to Town Hall. Tip. put your archery with your cannons. Never put the same variety of defence in one place, mix up your defence system so your defence systems can help each other out.
- Add walls around your defence system.
- Add your resources all over the base. Reason. So while your opponent is attacking time passes they may have destroyed half of your village so when they are running around your base to break down items and time may finish and not 100 % may have been destroyed so they won't have won or either only less percentage will give them less trophies and you will lose less trophies.
- Now save your layout
