This layout provides 2 layers of wall protection to mortar and a dedicated wall protection to Wizard tower. Also, 6 defensive blocks surrounded by walls will give giants a hard time to ninja them all. All 4 resources storages are safetly kept into these blocks, which also accommodate 2 additional resources collectors. Air defense is put outside of the walls to attract giants and put them in reach for mortar and wizard tower defense. Clan Castle also covers almost all buildings, which will allow defenders to be called out at attacks from anywhere. All resource collectors are under defensive coverage, specially by wizard tower's coverage. While the village's center is vulnerable (although covered by archer's tower), your resources are all very well protected by this TH5 layout.
